The Christmas Countdown with Jo Malone London

Updated: Nov 21

When it comes to spreading Christmas cheer, Jo Malone London shines like no other. Since 1994 Jo Malone London has created a palette of exquisitely simple, elegant scents and curated a world where every sense is indulged.

You can explore these worlds whether you’re attending the Covent Garden Christmas pop-up shop; kicking back at Hertfordshire’s country retreat, The Grove; or self-indulging at home with a festive self-purchase or two.

All wrapped up at The Grove

The Grove, Hertfordshire, the stunning five-star hotel and spa just outside of London, has announced an exclusive Christmas partnership with fragrance and lifestyle brand, Jo Malone London. From 22nd November, the British fragrance house will take over The Grove’s historic Mansion with a series of scented experiences. Taking inspiration from Jo Malone London’s iconic gift wrap, the seasonal transformation begins at the hotel’s entrance where an oversized decorative bow will adorn the front doors, welcoming guests.

This Grade-II listed Mansion is an ideal overnight stay, so why not recharge your batteries over those lazy Twixmas days or ring in the new year in style. Package options can be found here.

To get you into the holiday spirit, from 25th November to 5th January, guests can indulge in a specially curated Afternoon Tea in the Mansion’s lounges. Inspired by Jo Malone London’s signature scents, the menu will feature dishes including Chocolate Caraibe Mousse with Tonka Cream & Chocolate Crunch, inspired by the delectable Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense, and Gingerbread Tartlet with Hazelnut Cream & Caramel Praline, capturing the irresistible notes of the most-loved Ginger Biscuit fragrance. Each guest will also receive a complimentary travel size 9ml cologne, a fragrant keepsake for an experience to mark the occasion.

For those searching for the perfect Christmas gift, The Grove’s Martini Lounge will transform into a Jo Malone London gifting suite, where guests can shop a curated collection of the brand’s most-loved scents and limited-edition festive offerings, presented in the iconic Jo Malone London gift box decorated with a custom illustration of The Grove.
