The Bloomsbury Hotel Teams Up with The Devil Wears Prada Musical for a Glamorous Experience

Nestled in the heart of London’s Theatreland, the stylish Bloomsbury Hotel is set to dazzle theatre-goers this winter with an exciting partnership with the star-studded production of The Devil Wears Prada musical. Opening on 5th November, the highly anticipated show will be complemented by the hotel’s whimsical collaboration that merges the glamour of Miranda Priestly’s Runway with the sophistication of The Bloomsbury’s surroundings.

In celebration of The Devil Wears Prada’s London arrival, guests at The Bloomsbury can enjoy a variety of themed offerings inspired by the iconic film and its musical adaptation. This includes themed cocktails, an exquisite afternoon tea, and a luxurious overnight stay package, all designed to provide the ultimate Devil Wears Prada experience.

At the hotel’s vibrant, art-deco-inspired Coral Room bar, guests can indulge in ‘devilishly’ delightful cocktails before or after the show. Highlights include the ruby red Runway Royale, a mix of Mijenta Tequila Reposado, Galliano Vanilla Liqueur, Nonino Botanical, Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve, and a Maraschino Cherry. For a sharper taste, the Miranda Club combines Altamura Vodka, Hedgerow Berry & Rose Shrub, Cocchi Extra Dry Vermouth, Raspberry, and Lemon Juice.

The Bloomsbury’s Runway Afternoon Tea, priced at £48 per person, features playful dishes inspired by the beloved film. Highlights include Nate’s grilled cheese, the notorious no-foam skimmed latte, and a decadent hazelnut opera cake with coffee and caramel, reminiscent of Emily’s go-to order. Guests can also indulge in The Devil’s chocolate cake and a fun twist on the classic New York cheesecake – a single cube of cheese, naturally.

The afternoon tea experience is complemented by a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, scones, and The Bloomsbury’s finest teas, including chai, white, herbal, and fruit infusions. For an extra celebratory touch, guests can upgrade to the Champagne Afternoon Tea for £65 per person, which includes a glass of Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve Champagne.

For those seeking to extend their theatre experience, The Bloomsbury offers a fantastic overnight stay package starting from 5th November. Starting at £480 for two, the package includes accommodation in a premium room or suite, two tickets to The Devil Wears Prada musical, a pre-theatre dinner at the cosy winter Dalloway Terrace, breakfast, and a signed programme from the cast.

A Star-Studded Musical to Anticipate

Set to be one of the West End’s biggest musical productions in recent years, The Devil Wears Prada will feature Tony Award nominee Vanessa Williams in the iconic role of Miranda Priestly, with music by the legendary Elton John. The show’s spectacular gala on 1st December, coinciding with World AIDS Day, will support The Elton John AIDS Foundation, promising an unforgettable evening.

With its prime location just a three-minute walk from the theatre, The Bloomsbury Hotel is the perfect base for guests eager to immerse themselves in the world of The Devil Wears Prada. Whether it’s sipping cocktails, indulging in a themed afternoon tea, or enjoying a luxurious overnight stay, The Bloomsbury invites you to experience the ultimate blend of fashion and hospitality this winter.
