4 Ways to Wear Pantone's 2025 Colour of the Year

Each year the industry’s leading colour specialist Pantone names their Colour of the Year, and taking the title for 2025 is a desert-inspired shade named Mocha Mousse. The colour, warming and mauve in tone, reflects a shift in cultural mood towards connection, comfort and harmony.

Whether you already love this versatile shade or it’s a hue you want to indulge in, we’ve curated 4 ways to wear Mocha Mousse, and its complementary shades, for the foreseeable winter season and beyond.

Pantone’s Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman reveals 2025’s colour of the year is “Underpinned by our desire for everyday pleasures, Mocha Mousse expresses a level of thoughtful indulgence.Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic, Mocha Mousse extends our perceptions of the browns from being humble and grounded to embrace aspirational and luxe”.

The colour of the year is set to have a major influence over our fashion choices, alongside these sophisticated shades of brown that are lending their decadence to our wardrobes.

Whilst a spring-inspired colour palette invites pastel hues, tonal dressing offers shades reminiscent of indulgent chocolate and coffee.
